Dizzy’s Club proudly presents an all-star intergenerational ensemble performing in celebration of electrifying saxophone legend, Eddie Harris. An artist whose music consistently receives new treatment from diverse artists, including Jamiroquai, Macy Gray and Martin Scorsese, Harris embraced countless styles of music, collaborated with distinct leaders, and released record hits, including “Freedom Jazz Dance,” “Listen Here,” and “Cold Duck Time.” Led by award-winning bassist and composer Rufus Reid, this one-night event features Harris’ granddaughter, pianist Nia Harris Burnley, and spotlights funk, soul, blues, and Harris’ vast vocabulary. Don’t miss this loving tribute to a brilliant and enduring artist.
